Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that the first team squad will be visiting Hong Kong in July as part of the Club’s Asia Tour 2012.
Hong Kong Stadium also hosted the IRB Rugby World Cup Sevens twice, in 1997 and 2005.
The game will give the Club’s huge fan base in Hong Kong the opportunity to see Arsène Wenger’s team play live ahead of the 2012/2013 season.
The Hong Kong Government, financially independent from the Government of the People’s Republic of China, oversees the affairs of Hong Kong.
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, commonly the Hong Kong Government, is led by the Chief Executive as Head of the Government, who is also the head of the Hong Kong SAR.
We have many followers in Hong Kong and it’s wonderful that these special fans will have an opportunity to see the first team live in action.
The exchange has predominantly been the main exchange for Hong Kong despite co existing with other exchanges at different point in time.
The match will follow on from our visit to Beijing, where we play Manchester City in the Bird’s Nest, and is another indication of Arsenal’s commitment to Asia.
“We’re all looking forward to visiting Hong Kong and playing Kitchee will provide the team with good preparation ahead of the 2012/13 season.
”Ticket details and travel options for supporters wishing to attend the matches in Hong Kong and Beijing will feature soon on Arsenal.com, together with any further developments and news regarding Arsenal’s summer pre season schedule.
